Why choose Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Cruises means to put fun at the forefront of all their operations on the high seas. Designed to suit contemporary tastes, more than half of their vessels have a capacity between 2,500 and 3,900 passengers, and each one features a host of amenities.
From movie theatres, high ropes and water parks, to classy restaurants, lavish spas and late-night venues, a passenger could easily spend their entire cruise enjoying the delights of this variety without ever feeling the need to step foot on dry land.
Naturally, with all those facilities and conveniences, a Carnival cruise can become a busy place, buzzing with activity and exhilaration. If you come alive with the delirium of a party atmosphere, you'll feel right at home once settled on board.
A non-stop jamboree vibe is only enhanced by the ships’ extravagant décor; bold, colourful artwork, and high-tech elements including LED sculptures and smart lifts. You won't need to add extra energy to the atmosphere, it's already taken care of.
Looking for the perfect blend of contemporary trends, modern excitement and attentive service that will cause an ear-to-ear grin? Look no further than Carnival.
Cruising with Carnival
Here's a taster of the Carnival Cruise Line mantra. The brand recently took its philosophy of fun to new heights by installing a rollercoaster on its new mega-ship Mardi Gras, propelling riders around an 800ft track at speeds of up to 40mph. Let's see you enjoy that excitement anywhere else!
Classic Carnival features include Guy Fieri burgers, Red Frog beer and Blue Iguana cocktails. Entertainment is second to none, and the lively pool parties have to be seen to be believed.
Boasting so many eateries and a wide range of bespoke entertainment, it would be easy to assume that environmental impact has been thrown to the wind. However, Carnival takes their carbon footprint seriously.
The 5,282-guest Mardi Gras is the first in the fleet to be powered by greener liquefied natural gas. A sister ship - Carnival Celebration - was introduced in November 2022, with a third following in 2023.
Who should travel
Carnival Cruise Line caters to multigenerational families, as well as groups of friends looking to celebrate a big occasion or enjoy an action-packed adventure.
With so much on offer, this isn’t the cruise for those seeking a relaxed and intimate style of holiday. Couples yearning for a quiet romantic escape won't find innermost solace here.
Extreme formality isn't Carnival's style, either. There is no need to stand on ceremony during a Carnival cruise, with a casual daytime dress code, while traditional formal nights have been replaced with ‘cruise casual’ and ‘cruise elegant’.
Destinations
Carnival places a big emphasis on sun and relaxation. Popular destinations include the luscious glamour of Caribbean island bliss, alongside North America's celebrated Gulf Coast.
The American Pacific Coast remains one of Carnival's most active regions, but that doesn't mean a limited range of inventories. On the contrary!
Carnival Cruise Line offers a diverse range of itineraries to other destinations across the world, including the Bahamas, Mexico, Europe, Bermuda, Alaska, Canada and New England, the Panama Canal, Australia, Asia, Tasmania, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and South Pacific. Not to mention Transatlantic specials.
Dining
Carnival has gone to town. First off there's Guy Fieri Originals - Guys Pig & Anchor Steakhouse and Guy's Burger Joint - alongside Italian, Asian, European and American cuisine.
